My Reading List for 2016 - Simple Is Good For You

My Reading List for 2016

Not much reading happened for me last year. Although I love reading. Growing up and during my early twenties I would read tons of books. And by tons, I mean at least 50 – 60 a year. Now, it’s a different story. Last year I planned to read 4 books each month and I ended up not reading even 10. I am making more ‘doable’ resolutions for this year and one of them is to read 1 book each month.

Throughout the last year I was noting titles and taking snapshots of covers of what I heard or thought was worth reading. Below is my desirable reading list, in no particular order .

My Reading List for 2016

While my number for 2016 is to read 12 books, my list contains many more than that. I will see what’s available in my library, or what my mood is. I also realize that some of them may just not be something that I want to read if I end up not liking it. Usually I choose to ditch a book if I don’t enjoy it, rather than ‘powering through’ hoping it will improve.

I may also add to this list as I go, this is a working draft of course! 🙂
